Though Euphoria might not be everyone's cup of tea, HBO has clearly found an audience for the show, because the series has scored a second season renewal after only four episodes.

"Euphoria creator Sam Levinson has built an incredible world with an extraordinary cast led by the supremely talented Zendaya. We are so grateful that he chose HBO as the home for this groundbreaking series," Francesca Orsi, executive vice president of HBO programming, said in a press release. "We look forward to following these complex characters as their journeys continue through the challenging world they inhabit."

The series follows Zendaya's Rue as she navigates high school after a recent overdose that put her in rehab. But while she's the focal point for everything, each episode takes a deeper look inside the lives of her classmates as they all grapple with addiction, sexuality, and their own relationships. According to HBO, the series "ranks as HBO's youngest skewing drama series on the network's digital platforms" and viewership has continued to grow with each passing week.

Zendaya took to Twitter to thank everyone for their support of the (controversial) show.
